Create & Import Wallets

You can add wallets to your Merlin account in two ways: generate a new one or import an existing wallet using a private key.

Creating a New Wallet

  1. Go to Wallet > tap “Create Wallet”
  2. The bot generates a new wallet
  3. You’re prompted to give the wallet a name
    • Type a name (1-20 characters), or
    • Type /skip to use the default label (W1, W2, etc.)
  4. Done! You’re redirected to the wallet list showing your new wallet
All wallets created via “Create Wallet” are recoverable from your single seed phrase. You only need to back up one seed phrase to recover all of them.

Importing a Wallet

  1. Go to Wallet > tap “Import Wallet”
  2. Enter your EVM private key (64 hex characters, with or without 0x prefix)
  3. The bot imports the wallet and sets up a trading proxy
  4. You’re redirected to the wallet list
Never share your private key with anyone. Always be cautious when entering sensitive information.

Renaming a Wallet

You can rename any wallet at any time:
  1. Open the wallet detail screen
  2. Tap “Rename”
  3. Type a new name (1-20 characters) or /skip to reset to the default label
