Limit Orders

Limit orders let you specify the exact price at which you want to buy or sell. The order stays active until it’s filled, or you cancel it.

Buy Limit Orders

Buy limit orders are placed from the Market screen.

Steps

  1. Open a market and tap “Limit YES” or “Limit NO”
  2. Enter your limit price — the bot prompts you to type a price in one of three formats:
    • Cents: type a number 1-99 (e.g., 45 means 45 cents)
    • Multiplier: type a value like 2x (doubles the current price)
    • Percentage offset: type +5% (adds 5% to the current price)
  3. Choose your amount — pick a preset or enter a custom USD amount
  4. The order is submitted

Order Outcomes

After submission, a limit buy order can have three outcomes:
OutcomeWhat Happened
MatchedYour order was fully filled immediately at your limit price or better
PostedYour order is on the order book, waiting to be filled
FailedSomething went wrong (e.g., network error)
Posted orders appear in your Limit Orders list and will fill when the market reaches your price.

Sell Limit Orders

Sell limit orders are placed from the Position Detail screen (Limit tab).

From the Limit Tab

  1. Go to Positions > tap a position > switch to the Limit tab
  2. Choose one of:
    • Limit Sell 100% — sell your entire position at a price you specify
    • Limit Sell X% — enter a custom percentage, then a price
    • Multiplier presets (e.g., “Sell 50% at 2x”, “Sell 100% at 4x”) — one-tap sell at a multiple of the current price

Setting the Price

The price input accepts the same three formats as buy limits:
  • Cents (e.g., 75)
  • Multiplier (e.g., 2x)
  • Percentage offset (e.g., +10%)
All prices are clamped to the valid range of 1-99 cents.
